The recording setup as well as making of “All I Ever Wanted” took place at Thomas’ home studio in Liverpool. For this first release, Thomas made each musician’s part separately. He found this process very fun. The use of real drums adds truth to the track. It makes it better than the computer-made drums in the demo.
